Company Overview/Benefits

The Human Resources Coordinator (HRC) serves as an administrative support member of the organization’s Human Resources department. The primary duties of the HRC include providing administrative support to field employees and assisting the Human Resources Generalist (HRG) in all daily business needs. This position has an active role in ensuring all human resource functions are complying with local, state, and federal regulations. The HRC reports to the regional HRG.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures all employee files are in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Ensures all employee medical records are accessible for legal and compliance purposes
  • Maintains company record keeping files and platforms
  • Monitors incoming communication and responds as needed via the HR regional mailbox
  • Prepares and distributes all LOA/ADA & Workers Compensation paperwork as needed
  • Partners with HR Generalist/Manager on all ad-hoc projects as needed
  • Participates in all HR conference calls
  • Participates in employee relation issues as needed
  • Understands and enforces all HR related policies and ensures compliance as needed
  • Responsible for completing regional hiring on/off-boarding processes including updating portal information
  • Supports ad hoc projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Relevant professional HR administrative experience
  • Proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to function and communicate effectively on a team
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and requests simultaneously
  • Ability to manage and submit work on time as directed by supervisor
  • Effective verbal, written, and listening skills
  • Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of compliance within record keeping
